Ingredients
-
2 piece Cheese, Camembert
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
4 spoon Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
4 spoon Breadcrumbs, dried
-
1 spoon Spices, poppy
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
pieces Oil, plant, sunflower
Steps
-
Crack an egg into a bowl and whisk it well with a fork, add salt, and mix well again. In a second bowl, add flour, and in a third bowl, mix breadcrumbs with poppy seeds.
-
First, coat the camembert well in flour, then dip it in the egg, and finally coat it in the breadcrumb mixture. Press the breaded cheese between your palms so that the breadcrumbs adhere well to the cheese. Repeat with the second piece of cheese. Heat the oil well in a small pot, being careful not to let it smoke. Fry the breaded cheese for 3 minutes on each side and drain it on paper towels.
-
Serve immediately so the cheese doesn't harden and remains tasty and fresh.

Advice
Serve with homemade tartar sauce. Fry in a large amount of fat. The food must float in it. For frying, use fats that do not contain water, such as coconut fat or good oil. The frying fat is hot enough when small bubbles form around a wooden spoon handle.
