Fried Cauliflower
A distant relative of the Wiener schnitzel and an excellent side dish. Vegetarians will be delighted.

Ingredients

600 g Cauliflower, fresh

4 pieces Egg, fresh

200 g Breadcrumbs, dried

100 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

pieces Oil, plant, sunflower
Steps

Clean and wash the cauliflower, then separate it into individual florets. Beat the eggs and whisk them in a separate bowl. Fill another bowl with flour, and in a third bowl, add breadcrumbs.

Coat each piece of cauliflower first in flour, then dip it in the beaten egg, and finally roll it in breadcrumbs.

Place a pan on the stove with heated oil. Fry each piece of cauliflower on all sides until golden brown. Remove the fried cauliflower with a slotted spoon and place it on a paper towel to drain excess fat. Serve on plates and offer as a side dish.

Advice
We recommend serving it with roasted potatoes or potato salad. Fry in a large amount of fat. The food should float in it. For frying, use fats that do not contain water, such as coconut oil or good quality oil. The frying fat is hot enough when small bubbles form around a wooden spoon handle.
