Ingredients
-
600 g Meat cheese
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
60 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
80 g Breadcrumbs, dried
-
1 piece Lemon, fresh, without shell
-
1 twig Parsley, fresh
-
pieces Oil, vegetable oil, canola
Steps
-
Cut the cheese into 1 cm thick slices. Prepare three plates (two shallow and one deep). Crack an egg into the deep plate and whisk it with a fork or whisk. Pour flour into one shallow plate and breadcrumbs into the other. Dip each slice of cheese first into the flour, coating it on all sides, then into the egg, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.
-
Place a deep pan on the stove and pour in oil to a depth of 2 cm. When the oil is hot enough, fry the breaded cheese slices on both sides. Fry each side for 4 minutes.
-
Place the fried cheese slices on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil. Wash the lemon and cut it into slices. Wash the parsley, shake it dry, and tear off the leaves. Arrange the fried cheese slices on plates and garnish with lemon slices and parsley leaves. Serve with salad and potatoes.

Advice
The oil for frying is just right when bubbles start to form around the wooden handle of a cooking spoon that is dipped into the oil. Fry in a large amount of fat. The food should float in it. For frying, use fats that do not contain water, such as coconut oil or good quality oil.
