Fried Chicken Strips
These fried chicken strips will be a hit. They are crispy on the outside and very tender and juicy on the inside. The seasoned yogurt marinade ensures extra juiciness, as the chicken is marinated in it before frying. Fried strips are a great idea for a quick lunch or dinner, and when served with various sauces, they make an excellent snack.

Ingredients
-
400 g Meat, chicken, breasts
-
300 g Yogurt, plain, from whole milk
-
1.5 spoons Spices, curry powder
-
1 spoon Spices, onion powder
-
pieces Salt, table
-
200 g Breadcrumbs, dried
-
pieces Oil, vegetable oil, canola
Steps
-
Cut the chicken fillets into thin strips. In a bowl, mix the yogurt with curry, onion, pepper, and salt. Add the sliced meat to the marinade. Mix well so that all pieces of meat are nicely seasoned. If you're in a hurry, immediately coat the marinated meat in breadcrumbs and fry in hot oil; otherwise, cover the bowl and store it in the refrigerator for several hours.
-
Pour breadcrumbs into a larger bowl. Add a few pieces of marinated meat and coat them on all sides with breadcrumbs. Place the coated pieces on a plate. Repeat the process until all marinated strips are coated in breadcrumbs.
-
Heat oil well in a deep pan (see additional tips) and fry the chicken strips in it. Turn them during frying so that they brown nicely on both sides. Remove the fried strips with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels. Serve the fried strips with your choice of side dish and/or various sauces.

Advice
Fry in a large amount of fat. The food should float in it. For frying, use fats that do not contain water, such as coconut oil or good quality oil. The frying fat is hot enough when small bubbles form around a wooden spoon handle. The fried strips can also be prepared in the oven. Arrange them on baking paper or a rack, lightly sprinkle with oil (or dot with butter pieces), and bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 15 to 20 minutes.
