50 g Seaweed, wakame, dried

3 spoons Oil, sesame

Place a pot of water on the stove and wait for it to boil. Meanwhile, inspect and clean the seaweed. Once the water boils, quickly dip the seaweed into the boiling water to soften it and remove excess salt. Use a slotted spoon to remove the seaweed from the water and transfer it to kitchen towels.

Unroll and flatten the seaweed. Heat oil in a wide pan over medium heat. Place the seaweed in the hot oil and press it down with a spatula. While frying, the seaweed will change color in a few minutes. Once it turns brown, flip it with the spatula and fry the other side. Remove the fried seaweed from the pan with the spatula, place it on a serving plate, and serve.
