Ingredients
-
230 g Cheese, mozzarella
-
120 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
60 ml Milk, whole milk
-
150 g Breadcrumbs, dried
-
3 pinch Salt, table
-
2 pinch Spices, pepper, white
-
1 teaspoon Spices, garlic powder
-
pieces Oil, vegetable oil, canola
Steps
-
Drain the mozzarella balls well and place them on a plate lined with a paper towel. Cover them with another paper towel and gently press to ensure they are well dried.
-
Prepare three bowls: in the first, place flour; in the second, beat the eggs well and then mix in the milk; in the third bowl, combine breadcrumbs with salt, pepper, and garlic.
-
First, coat the mozzarella balls in flour, then dip them into the egg mixture, and finally roll them in the breadcrumb mixture.
-
Place a deep pan with oil on the stove. Wait until the oil is very hot, but be careful not to let it start smoking. Fry the mozzarella balls in the oil. Fry them for about two minutes or until they turn golden brown. Be careful not to put too many mozzarella balls in the oil at once!
-
Place the fried balls on a paper towel to absorb excess oil, then arrange them on a serving plate. Serve them with your choice of sauces.

Advice
The layer of oil in the pan should be at least 3 cm deep. For frying, use fats that do not contain water, such as coconut oil or good quality oil. The oil is hot enough when bubbles start to form around the wooden handle of a spoon dipped into the oil. Instead of balls, you can also fry mozzarella cut into 2.5 cm pieces.
