Ingredients
-
250 g Cheese, mozzarella
-
70 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
50 ml Milk, whole milk
-
100 g Breadcrumbs, dried
-
40 g Cheese, Parmesan, grated
-
1.5 teaspoons Spices, parsley, dried
-
1 teaspoon Salt, table
-
pieces Oil, vegetable oil, canola
Steps
-
Cut the mozzarella into sticks approximately 5 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. Prepare three bowls. In one, place flour, in another, breadcrumbs. To the bowl with breadcrumbs, add grated Parmesan, seasoned salt, and parsley. Mix the ingredients in the bowl well. In the third bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together with milk.
-
First, coat the mozzarella sticks in flour, then dip them in the egg mixture, and finally roll them in the breadcrumbs. Then dip them again in the egg mixture and roll them once more in the breadcrumbs. Place the breaded sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Store the baking sheet with the sticks in the refrigerator for one hour.
-
Heat oil in a large pot to the right temperature for frying the sticks (the correct oil temperature is 175 degrees Celsius). Be careful not to let the oil start smoking. Gently place the breaded sticks into the hot oil. Fry the sticks until golden brown, then remove them with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels. Repeat the process until all the sticks are fried.
-
Serve the fried sticks on plates and offer them with your chosen dipping sauce.

Advice
Fry in a large amount of fat. The food should float in it. For frying, use fats that do not contain water, such as coconut oil or good quality oil. The fat is hot enough when small bubbles form around a wooden spoon handle.
