Fried Peppers with Ham and Cheese
A great idea on how to turn peppers into a super dish. Stuffed with mozzarella and ham, breaded and fried, they are juicy, crispy, and filling. You can enjoy them on their own or pair them with a bowl of salad.

Ingredients

8 pieces Bell pepper, red, fresh

150 g Ham, pressed

300 g Cheese, mozzarella

pieces Flour, Wheat, bread flour

2 piece Egg, fresh

pieces Breadcrumbs, dried

Steps

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and turn on the grill function. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper.

Cut off the stems of the peppers and remove the seeds, then wash and dry them. Arrange them on the baking tray and place in the preheated oven for 10 minutes to allow the peppers to color and roast well. Then flip them and bake for another 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, cut the ham into small pieces and mix it with grated mozzarella.

Once the peppers have cooled slightly, remove the blackened skin and stuff them with the ham and cheese mixture.

Bread the peppers by first coating them in flour, then dipping them in beaten eggs, and finally coating them in breadcrumbs. Fry the breaded peppers in hot oil just until the coating turns golden brown.
