Ingredients
-
2 teaspoons Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
2 slices Meat, pork, smoked bacon
-
170 g Corn, yellow, fresh
-
200 g Beans, fresh
-
1 pod Garlic, fresh
-
250 g Rice, white, long grain, cooked
-
2 teaspoons Soy sauce, shoyu
-
1 teaspoon Sugar, white
-

Steps
-
Clean the green part of the spring onion and slice it into rings. Crack an egg into a bowl and lightly beat it with a fork or whisk. Cut the bacon slices into small pieces. Peel the garlic and crush it with a knife.
-
Heat oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, pour the beaten egg into the pan. Wait about 30 seconds for it to set on the bottom, then flip it and cook the other side. Transfer the egg omelet to a plate.
-
Add the bacon pieces to the pan and fry them for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until crispy. Add the peas, corn, and crushed garlic clove. Stir-fry for another minute.
-
In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce and sugar. Increase the heat and add the rice to the pan. Wait until it heats up, then pour the soy sauce and sugar mixture over the rice. Sprinkle the spring onion rings over the rice, mix everything well, and then remove the pan from the heat.
-
Slice the egg omelet into strips. Serve the fried rice on plates, top with the omelet strips, and enjoy.

Advice
Instead of frozen, you can use fresh vegetables, blanched in boiling water to soften them. You can also add sautéed shrimp, pieces of chicken, beef, pork, or tofu to the dish if desired.
