Ingredients

4 dl Rice, white, long grain
-
6 dl Water
-
2 pinch Salt, table
-
4 spoon Oil, peanut
-
3 pieces Egg, fresh
-
4 pods Garlic, fresh
-
0.5 piece Onion, raw
-
2 piece Onion, young
-
200 g Tofu
-
4 spoon Soy sauce, shoyu
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
Steps
-
Cook the rice according to the recipe for boiled rice. Once the rice is cooked, drain it well and spread it out in a shallow baking dish to dry as much as possible.
-
Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Clean, wash, and chop the spring onion. Cut the tofu into 1 cm cubes. Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them with a fork, then mix in 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of water.
-
Place a large pan on the stove over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of oil and when it heats up, cook a thin omelette in it. Flip the omelette after one minute, cook for another 1/2 minute, then transfer it to a plate. Increase the heat to high. Pour 3 tablespoons of oil into the pan and when it heats up, add the onion. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent, then add the tofu to the pan. Stir-fry for 3 minutes, ensuring the tofu is evenly browned on all sides. Add the rice and garlic, mix, and season with soy sauce and pepper. Continue stirring and fry for another 5 minutes until the rice becomes crispy. Remove the pan from the heat.
-
Chop the egg omelette and mix it into the rice. Serve the dish on plates, sprinkle with spring onion, and enjoy.
