Steps
- Crush the cardamom pods with a knife and remove the seeds, discarding the husks. Break the cinnamon stick. Place a pan on the stove and dry roast all the spices for about 8 minutes (over moderate heat). Shake the pan frequently. Let the spices cool, then grind them into a powder using a mortar or grinder. Sift the mixture and use it as a seasoning.

Advice
