Garlic Bread with Cheese

Steps

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Cut the French loaf in half lengthwise.

Peel the garlic and finely chop it. In a bowl, add softened butter and mix it with the garlic, Italian herbs, and salt. Also mix in a handful of grated mozzarella.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the two halves of the loaf on it, with the cut side facing up. Spread the garlic butter as evenly as possible over the halves.

Mix the remaining grated mozzarella with grated Parmesan. Sprinkle the mixture over the garlic butter.

Place the tray in the preheated oven for 15 minutes to melt the cheese, then increase the oven temperature to 200 degrees and bake the bread until the cheese turns golden brown.
