Cut the buns into smaller cubes and soak them in milk. Peel and finely chop the shallot. Wash and shake off the garlic chives and chives. Reserve a few garlic chive leaves, finely chop the rest. Wash the tomato and slice it.

Melt butter in a pan and sauté the shallot until golden brown. Remove from heat and mix in half of the chopped garlic chives and chives.
