Ingredients
-
pieces Potatoes, white
-
1 spoon Butter, unsalted
-
200 g Meat, pork, smoked loin
-
5 dl Sweet cream
-
1 piece Egg, egg yolk, fresh
-
pieces Basil, fresh
-
pieces Salt, table
Steps
-
Cook the prosciutto and cut it into desired pieces. Rinse the basil under running water and dry it with paper towels.
-
Place a pot with a generous amount of salted water for cooking the gnocchi on the stove. Once the water boils, add the gnocchi and cook them according to the manufacturer's instructions.
-
While the gnocchi are cooking, melt the butter in a pan and sauté the prosciutto in it. Pour in 4 deciliters of cream and let the sauce simmer on low heat.
-
In a small bowl, mix the remaining cream with the egg yolk. Stir this mixture into the sauce, cooking it while continuously stirring until it thickens. Be careful not to let it boil, as the sauce could curdle.
-
Finely chop the basil and mix it along with the cooked gnocchi into the prepared sauce. Season the dish with pepper and salt to taste, then serve it on plates and enjoy immediately.
