Goose Thighs with Apples from the Oven

Steps

Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Wash the goose thighs and dry them with a paper towel or clean cloth. Rub them with salt and lightly pepper, then oil the baking dish and arrange the seasoned thighs in it.

Wash and dry the apples well. Arrange them among the meat in the baking dish. Place the rosemary sprigs on the meat and put everything in the preheated oven. Bake for 40 minutes, turning the thighs once or twice during baking and basting them with the juices that form during cooking.

Slice the baked goose thighs into thinner pieces and arrange them on plates - place an apple next to the meat. A glass of red wine pairs excellently with this dish.

Advice
You can also baste the goose thighs with beer or white wine during baking. The leftover meat can be stored in the refrigerator and used to prepare a divine salad in the evening or the next day.
