Ingredients
-
500 g Pasta, Macaroni
-
500 g Okra
-
2 spoons Butter, unsalted
-
2 spoons Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
6 dl Milk, whole milk
-
1 pod Garlic, fresh
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table
-
2 pinch Spices, pepper, white
-
250 g Cheese, Cheddar
-
120 g Cheese, goat, semi-hard
-
2 spoons Cheese, Parmesan, grated
Steps
-
Clean the chard, separate the leaves, remove the thick stems, and wash them. Cut the leaves into smaller pieces. Place a large pot with 5 liters of salted water on the stove. When the water boils, add the macaroni and cook them al dente according to the instructions on the package. 2 minutes before the end of cooking, add the chard to the pot. Drain the pasta and chard.
-
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Grease a deep ovenproof dish. Peel the garlic. Place a medium-sized pot on the stove and melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and lightly toast it while stirring, then pour in the warm milk. Add the garlic and season with salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until you get a creamy sauce. Remove the pot from the heat and take out the garlic. Stir in the grated cheese and goat cheese, and mix until you get a smooth sauce.
-
Place the macaroni and chard in the baking dish and pour the sauce over everything. Mix well so that the sauce is evenly distributed. Sprinkle the dish with Parmesan and bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until a golden crust forms on the surface. Serve directly from the baking dish.
