Greek Grilled Skewers

Ingredients

4 spoon Oil, olive

1 piece Lemon, fresh, without shell

1 pinch Salt, table

1 pinch Spices, pepper, black

700 g Meat, lamb, fillet

1 piece Onion, raw

1 piece Bell pepper, red, fresh

1 piece Bell pepper, green, fresh
Steps

First, prepare the marinade. Squeeze the juice of one lemon and mix it with olive oil, a pinch of salt and pepper, and a teaspoon of oregano. Wash the meat well and cut it into pieces of any size. Place them in the marinade and leave them in the refrigerator overnight.

Wash the bell pepper, remove the seeds, and cut it into chunks. Peel the red onion and cut it into chunks.

Thread the pieces of meat, bell pepper, and onion onto a wooden or metal skewer.

Light the charcoal.

Grill the skewers for 15 minutes, turning them several times. If necessary, grill them for a few additional minutes until the meat is completely tender.

Advice
Lamb can be well replaced with chicken meat. Instead of grilling, they can also be prepared in a grill pan.
