Green Beans with Bacon and Sour Cream
A very simple yet exceptionally tasty dish, usually served as a side to meat dishes. It can also be a light standalone meal, served with rye bread or boiled potatoes.

Ingredients

1 kg Green beans, fresh

30 g Fat, beef tallow

180 g Sour cream

pieces Salt, table

1 handful Parsley, fresh
Steps

Wash and clean the green beans (trim the ends, tips, and any strings). Cut them into 3 to 4 cm long pieces.

Bring salted water to a boil in a pot. Add the beans and cook for 15-20 minutes or until tender but still firm to the bite. The beans should simmer gently throughout the cooking process. Drain the cooked beans.

Melt the bacon in a pan. Add the sour cream, stir, and wait for the cream to heat up. Season with pepper and salt, then gently mix in the chopped parsley and cooked beans. Serve the prepared dish.

Advice
Instead of bacon, you can use butter, and optionally add a bit of minced garlic and/or onion.
