Ingredients
-
2.5 spoons Oil, olive
-
8 pieces Meat, chicken, wings
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
pieces Tomato, red
-
2 pod Garlic, fresh
-
500 g Green beans, fresh
-
pieces Salt, table
Steps
-
Clean the green beans (trim the ends, tips, and any strings) and wash them. If desired, cut them into smaller pieces or slice them lengthwise (this will also speed up cooking). Wash the tomatoes and remove the stems. Cut them into chunks.
-
Pour a little oil into a large pot and heat it. Sear the chicken wings on both sides until golden brown in the hot oil. Meanwhile, peel the onion and garlic, and finely chop them separately.
-
Remove the seared meat from the pot and set it aside on a plate. Add the chopped onion to the pot and sauté until it becomes translucent and softens slightly. Add the chopped tomatoes and garlic, and cook everything together over moderate heat for another 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and mix the sauce well. Add the seared wings along with any juices that have accumulated, cover the pot, and simmer the dish slowly for 15 minutes.
-
Add the green beans to the pot and pour in the desired amount of water (if you prefer a thicker stew, add just a little liquid). Cover the pot again and simmer the dish slowly until the beans are completely tender (about 30 minutes). If needed, add a bit more salt and/or pepper.
-
Serve the prepared dish on plates. Optionally, enrich it with a spoonful of sour cream, and serve it with bread or boiled buttery potatoes.
