Ingredients
-
600 g Green beans, fresh
-
8 twig Dill, fresh
-
2.5 spoons Butter, unsalted
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table
Steps
-
Clean the green beans (trim the stems and any strings), wash them, and drain. Cut them into 5 cm long pieces. Place them in a pot and cover with enough water to fully submerge them. Add half a teaspoon of salt to the water. Place the pot on the stove and wait for the water to boil. Once the water boils, reduce the heat slightly and cook the beans for another 10 minutes. Drain the cooked beans well. Transfer them to a bowl and cover to keep them warm.
-
Wash the dill under running water, shake off excess water, and finely chop. Place a pan on the stove and melt the butter over moderate heat. Add the beans to the butter and sauté them for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Serve the beans on a large plate, sprinkle with dill, and offer as a side dish.
