1 kg Potatoes, white

700 g Green beans, fresh

4 spoon Lard

Wash and clean the green beans (trim the ends, tips, and any strings). Peel the potatoes, wash them, and cut them into larger pieces. Cook the vegetables separately in salted water until tender.

Just before the vegetables are done, heat the fat with cracklings in a pan (the cracklings should sizzle). Add the sour cream and let the sauce simmer while stirring constantly.
