Green Beans with Red Bell Pepper

Ingredients

280 g Green beans, fresh

1 piece Bell pepper, red, fresh

2 spoons Oil, peanut

1 pinch Salt, table

1 pinch Sugar, white

Thoroughly wash the beans and pepper. Trim the ends of the beans and cut them into smaller pieces if desired. Remove the seeds from the pepper and slice it into thin strips. Bring half a liter of salted water to a boil in a pot. Add the beans and wait for the water to boil again. Let it boil for about 30 seconds, then immediately drain the beans and cool them in cold water. Drain the beans well and set aside.

Heat a tablespoon of peanut oil in a wok or frying pan. Add the green beans and stir-fry for about one minute. Add the pepper and stir-fry for an additional minute, stirring constantly.

Transfer the stir-fried pepper and green beans to a large bowl, add salt and sugar, and mix well. Chill the salad if desired, then serve to your guests.
