4 pieces Artichoke

Steps

First, thoroughly wash the artichokes, then remove the outer tougher leaves. Trim the tips of the remaining leaves with scissors, leaving only the soft part and the tender center. Cut the stems close to the head.

Peel the garlic cloves, rinse them under running water, and finely chop. Wash the parsley, shake it dry, and finely chop. Prepare a bowl with oil, garlic, salt, and parsley. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice, which you drizzle over the artichokes to prevent browning. Light the grill and generously oil the grate.

Place the artichoke hearts on the grate with the cut side up and grill for about 8 minutes. Meanwhile, brush them with the oil mixture. Then flip them and grill with the cut side down for only 3-4 minutes.

Serve the prepared artichokes on plates and offer them to your guests.
