Ingredients
-
1 piece Pineapple, fresh
-
2 dl Coconut milk
-
4 spoon Powdered sugar
-
1 teaspoon Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
1 spoon Oil, plant, coconut
Steps
-
First, cut off the core and leaves of the pineapple. Place it on the cut end of the core and hold it firmly. With the other hand, using a long knife, cut the scaly skin from top to bottom in strips. Peel the fruit as thickly as possible to remove all the "eyes." Then cut the pineapple into 2 cm thick rings. Use a ring cutter to remove the hard center and cut the rings into smaller pieces.
-
Pour coconut milk into a bowl and soak the pineapple pieces in it. In another bowl, mix together powdered sugar and cinnamon. Drain the pineapple pieces and roll them in the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
-
Prepare the grill and oil the grate with coconut oil or butter.
-
When the grill is hot enough, place the prepared pineapple pieces on the grate. Grill them until the pieces turn brownish in the spots where they touch the grate. Transfer the pineapple pieces to a plate and serve. Serve warm, not hot!

Advice
You can also use canned pineapple rings. Do not use olive oil for the grill, but only coconut oil if you dont want to be disappointed with the taste. Pineapple pieces can also be grilled on a grill pan.
