Ingredients
Marinade
-
pieces Juice, lime
-
2 spoons Oil, olive
-
4 pods Garlic, fresh
-
2 teaspoons Spices, oregano, dried
-
2 teaspoons Spices, coriander - seeds
-
0.75 teaspoons Spices, pepper, black
-
0.75 teaspoons Salt, table
-
750 g Meat, beef, shoulder
Steps
-
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the marinade. Rinse the ribeye steaks and thoroughly dry them with paper towels. Place them in a shallow bowl and pour the prepared marinade over them. Turn them a few times so the marinade is evenly distributed over the meat. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (it's best to marinate the ribeye steaks overnight).
-
Preheat the grill well and take the bowl out of the refrigerator. Remove the ribeye steaks from the marinade and discard any garlic and excess marinade. Place them on the heated grill (or grill plate) and cook for 3 minutes on each side (this will give the meat a nice sear on the outside while keeping it pink inside). If you prefer the meat more well-done, cook the ribeye steaks for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side.
-
Remove the grilled ribeye steaks from the grill and place them on a plate. Let them rest for 5 to 10 minutes, then slice them into pieces. Serve on a board or platter with various sides.
