Grilled Sardines and Vegetables

Ingredients

1 kg Fish, anchovies, fresh

2 piece Small pumpkins

1 piece Lemon, fresh, without shell

4 pieces Bell pepper, green, fresh

1 teaspoon Spices, rosemary, dried

Steps

Squeeze the juice of one lemon into a bowl. Rinse the sardines and dry them with a paper towel. Place them in the bowl with lemon juice and season with salt. Wash and dry the zucchini, then slice them into rounds. Also, wash the bell pepper and leek, and slice them into thin rings.

Prepare the grill and grease the grate or grill plate well. Place the sardines and vegetables on the heated grate (or plate) and grill them until they develop a nice brown color on one side, then flip them and grill the other side. Lightly salt the vegetables while grilling, and sprinkle the fish with rosemary.

Arrange the grilled fish and vegetables on plates and serve. You can use a sprig of rosemary for decoration.

Advice
You can brush the fish and vegetables with olive oil while grilling. Use a sprig of rosemary dipped in oil for this. The dish can also be prepared on a grill pan. Its best to use organic lemons, whose peel is not treated with pesticides. If organic lemons are not available, submerge the lemon in hot water for a few minutes and wipe it well to remove the wax, which contains toxins.
