Ingredients
-
1 kg Fish, shrimp
-
3 pods Garlic, fresh
-
2 twigs Basil, fresh
-
80 ml Oil, olive
-
2 spoons Vinegar, red wine
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, red or cayenne
Steps
-
Peel the garlic, wash it, press it with a knife, and finely chop it. Wash the basil under running water, shake it off, pluck the leaves, and finely chop them. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients (except the shrimp tails) and stir well. Rinse the shrimp tails under running water and then dry them as thoroughly as possible.
-
Soak the shrimp in the marinade and stir until all the tails are coated with the marinade. Place the bowl with the shrimp in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Stir occasionally.
-
A few minutes before taking the shrimp out of the refrigerator, light the grill and heat it to a medium temperature. Take the shrimp out of the refrigerator and skewer 3 tails onto a wooden stick. Skewer them by piercing them twice: first at the end of the tail and second at the beginning of the tail.
-
Grill the shrimp on each side for 3 minutes until they turn a beautiful orange-red color. Serve the shrimp while still warm.
