Ground Meat in Cream Sauce
When you have ground meat in the fridge but dont feel like making meatballs or meat patties, and you dont have tomatoes on hand to prepare Bolognese sauce, remember this recipe. Ingredients

1.5 spoons Oil, vegetable oil, canola

40 g Butter, unsalted

1 piece Onion, raw

500 g Meat, beef, ground

2 pod Garlic, fresh

1 piece Spices, bay (leaves)

1 dl Alcohol, Wine, White

2 dl Soup base, chicken, cube

2.5 dl Sweet cream

pieces Salt, table

1 handful Parsley, fresh
Steps

Peel the onion and garlic, then finely chop them separately. In a deep pan, heat a mixture of oil and butter, and sauté the chopped onion in the hot fat until translucent. Add the ground meat and fry it, stirring occasionally, until the pieces of meat brown and sear. Towards the end, mix in the chopped garlic and add a bay leaf.

Pour wine over the fried meat, stir, and let it reduce by half. Add the broth, season with salt and pepper to taste, cover the pan, and simmer the meat slowly for 40 minutes. If needed, add a bit more liquid (water or broth).

Pour cream over the stewed meat and wait for the dish to come to a boil again. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

Serve the Ground Meat in Cream Sauce on plates. Add a side of your choice, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve.
