-
1 piece Green, raw
-
2 pod Garlic, fresh
-
2 pinch Salt, table
-
550 g Meat, beef, ground
-
125 ml Tomato, concentrate
-
1 can Tomato, concentrate
-
1 spoon Worcestershire sauce
-
1 spoon Vinegar, red wine
-
2 spoons Sugar, brown
-
1 pinch Spices, cloves, ground
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, red or cayenne
-
600 g Bread, wheat
Steps
-
Pour the peeled tomatoes from the can into a deeper bowl and blend them smoothly with a hand mixer. Wash the carrot under running water, peel it, and cut it into thin slices. Peel the onion, wash it, and finely chop it. Peel the garlic, crush it with a knife, and finely chop it. Clean the celery stalk, wash it, and cut it into smaller cubes.
-
Place a larger pan on the stove and heat the oil over high heat. Add the carrot and quickly sauté it until golden brown while stirring. Then reduce the temperature and add the celery and onion to the pan. Sauté for 5 minutes until the onion becomes translucent. Add the garlic, stir, and sauté for another 30 seconds. Remove the pan from the heat and transfer the contents to a smaller bowl.
-
Sprinkle the pan used for the vegetables with salt and place it back on the stove. Heat it over high temperature. Crumble half of the ground meat into the heated pan and brown it on all sides while stirring. Then transfer it to a bowl and brown the other half of the meat in the pan.
-
Add the set-aside meat and sautéed vegetables back into the pan. Pour in ketchup, peeled tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, and sprinkle with sugar. Mix well. Then reduce the temperature and season with cloves and cayenne pepper. Stir, cover the pan, and let it cook for another good 10 minutes.
-
Meanwhile, cut the buns in half. Remove the pan from the heat and fill each bun with a quarter of the prepared mixture. Serve the buns on plates and enjoy.
