-
1 spoon Butter, unsalted
-
1 spoon Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
Steps
-
Prepare the salty shortcrust pastry according to the recipe, shape it into a loaf, flatten it, divide it into four parts, and refrigerate for half an hour.
-
Cut the ham into 0.5 cm thick slices, then chop them into smaller pieces. Crack the eggs into a bowl. Add the sour cream, salt, and pepper, and whisk everything together well with a hand whisk.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Roll out the shortcrust pastry on a floured surface to about 0.5 cm thick and use it to line a well-greased and lightly floured round pie dish. The pastry should slightly overlap the edges. Press the pastry gently with your fingers against the bottom and sides of the dish, then prick it with a fork in several places. Use a rolling pin to firmly press over the edge of the dish to trim off the excess pastry and create a nice edge. Evenly distribute the ham pieces over the pastry base and pour the egg and cream mixture over them.
-
Bake the pie in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes until it turns golden brown.
-
Remove the baked pie from the oven, let it cool slightly, and cut it into pieces of your desired size. Serve the pieces on plates and enjoy.
