Ingredients
-
pieces Butter, unsalted
-
4 pieces Egg, fresh
-
150 ml Alcohol, Wine, White
-
1 dl Oil, olive
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table
-
250 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
1 teaspoon Baking powder
-
150 g Cheese, Cheddar
-
250 g Meat, pork, smoked ham
-
150 g Olives, green, in brine
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease a rectangular baking pan (23 x 13 cm) with butter and dust it with flour. Remove any excess flour. Drain the olives well and chop them into pieces. Also, cut the ham slices into smaller pieces. In a bowl, mix the flour and baking powder.
-
In another bowl, whisk the eggs with a hand whisk and mix them with wine, olive oil, and salt. Sift the flour and baking powder mixture into the egg mixture. Stir well with a spatula to form a uniform batter, then mix in the ham, cheese, and olives.
-
Pour the prepared mixture into the baking pan. Use a spatula to spread it evenly in the pan and smooth the top. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes. The cake is done when the top turns golden brown, and a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
-
Remove the baked cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, slice the cake into desired thickness, serve on a plate or platter, and enjoy.

Advice
You can cover the cake with a piece of parchment paper (soaked and well wrung out) during baking to prevent the top from burning.
