Ingredients

60 g Cheese, Cheddar

100 g Ham, pressed

280 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour

1 teaspoon Spices, parsley, dried

1 piece Egg, fresh

300 g Yogurt, plain, from skimmed milk

50 g Butter, unsalted

1 spoon Oil, olive
Steps

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Prepare a muffin tin for 12 muffins and grease the molds well. Cut the ham into very small pieces and finely grate the cheese.

In a large bowl, sift the flour, add baking powder, salt, parsley, and baking soda, and mix everything well. In a smaller bowl, whisk the egg with a hand whisk and mix in the yogurt and butter, then add the ham pieces and grated cheese. Pour the prepared mixture into the dry ingredients and quickly mix everything together to form a thick batter. Fill the muffin molds two-thirds full with the batter.

Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake the muffins for about 20 minutes until they turn golden brown.

Once the muffins are baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.

Remove the muffins from the tin, arrange them on a serving platter, and serve.

Advice
You can place paper liners in the muffin tin; this way, you dont need to grease the molds. Instead of parsley, you can use chives, basil, or rosemary.
