350 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

200 g Butter, unsalted

150 g Sugar, white

Mix flour, butter, sugar, egg, egg yolk, rum, and lemon zest to form a dough. Wrap it in transparent foil and refrigerate for at least half an hour.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Divide the chilled dough into 15-gram pieces and shape them into balls.

First dip the balls in egg white, then roll them in hazelnuts. Arrange them on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Once baked, let the balls cool completely.

To make the hazelnut balls, take two balls and 'glue' them together with chocolate spread. Repeat the process until all ingredients are used. Serve the hazelnut balls on a plate or platter and enjoy.
