- Number of Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
12 slice Bread, wheat
-
150 g Fish, salmon, smoked
-
150 g Meat, pork, thigh
-
60 g Cheese, Gorgonzola
-
2 teaspoons Butter, unsalted
Steps
-
Toast the bread in a pan or toaster. Once nicely toasted, use cookie cutters to cut out various shapes (such as stars). Spread a bit of butter on the cut-out bread slices. Slice the Gorgonzola into thin pieces. Wash the fig and cut it into thin slices. Wash the lemon, dry it, and slice it into rounds, then cut the rounds into quarters.
-
Next, top some of the bread slices with slices of prosciutto and Gorgonzola, and others with slices of smoked salmon. Be careful to only top half of the bread slices! Cover the topped slices with the remaining bread slices and secure the prepared canapés with toothpicks. Decorate the canapés with prosciutto and Gorgonzola with a slice of fig, and the canapés with prosciutto with a quarter of a lemon. Optionally, garnish all the canapés with parsley leaves.
-
Arrange the prepared canapés on a serving platter and serve them to your guests.
