Homemade Almond Milk
Since store-bought almond milk can contain a lot of sugar and additives, its best to make it ourselves. It can be stored in the refrigerator for about 4 days, but it often runs out much sooner.

Ingredients

1 cup Nuts, almonds

3 cups Water

pieces Date, fresh or dried

Place the almonds in a bowl. Cover them completely with cold water. Let them soak for 8 hours (preferably overnight).

Drain the soaked almonds and transfer them to a blender. Add water and blend for 2 minutes.

For a sweeter taste, add a few dates, honey, or agave syrup and blend for about 1 more minute. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve and pour it into a glass bottle. Seal it tightly and store it in the refrigerator.

Advice
Soaked almonds can be peeled before blending. You can also mix in a bit of ground cinnamon or vanilla extract into the almond milk.
