Homemade Bajadera with Walnuts
Who doesnt know the legendary Bajadera, which ranks among the best desserts? As an interesting fact: the factory where it is produced doesnt know exactly when it was created, so they consider the year 1954 as the year of origin, when it appeared on store shelves as a standalone product. The recipe for the homemade version we offer below is a very good approximation of the original, and the best part is that you dont need an oven to prepare it.

Dark layer: Place water, sugar, butter, and chocolate in a pot and heat until the sugar and chocolate dissolve. Remove the pot from the heat, add walnuts and butter cookies to the mixture, and mix everything well. Pour the dark layer over the light layer and spread it evenly across the entire surface, smoothing the top. Place the baking dish in the refrigerator to allow both layers to set and cool.

Chocolate glaze: Break or chop the chocolate into pieces and place it in a pot. Add oil and heat over low heat until the chocolate melts. Remove from the heat and gently stir to create a smooth glaze. Pour the glaze over the cooled Bajadera.
