Homemade Chocolate Pudding
The puddings we know today can be made by any child. But what about real, homemade puddings or starch-based custards, as they are more correctly called? These can also be made by almost any child, as the preparation is not much more demanding.

Ingredients

80 g chocolate, dark

0.5 l Milk, whole milk

1 pinch Salt, table

50 g Sugar, white

45 g Koruzni škrob

0.25 teaspoons Vanilla, extract, natural

2 pinch Spices, cinnamon, ground

1 piece Egg, fresh
Steps

Grate half of the chocolate and break the other half into small squares. In a bowl, mix the starch flour and grated chocolate with about half a deciliter of milk to form a thick and smooth paste. Separate the egg yolk from the egg white. Beat the yolk and whip the egg white into stiff peaks.

Pour the remaining milk into a pot and mix in the sugar, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla. Place the pot on medium heat and wait for the milk to boil. Add the mixed starch flour and chocolate to the boiling milk. Stir continuously until the mixture boils again and thickens, then remove the pot from the heat.

Mix the egg yolk and whipped egg white into the still hot mixture. Rinse the pudding molds with cold water, then pour the prepared pudding into them. Wait for the pudding to cool completely.

Decorate the cooled pudding with chocolate pieces and serve.
