Homemade noodles with chicken, shrimp, vegetables, and sweet-sour sauce is a winning dish from the individual challenge in the 5th season of Slovenia, where contestants tested their skills in creating Binet Volčičs popular fast food.

200 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

Steps

Mix flour, eggs, and salt to form a smooth dough. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Roll out the dough to the desired thickness (about 1 mm thick) using a pasta machine. Place it on a floured board and cut into evenly thick noodles (you can also use the pasta machine for this). Cook the prepared noodles in salted boiling water for 5 minutes or less if you prefer them 'al dente'.

Sauté a crushed garlic clove in butter. Add herbs, thinly sliced chicken, and a bit more oil. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the pan and set aside on a plate.

Add cleaned shrimp to the pan, sauté them, and transfer to the plate with the chicken.

Remove the garlic and herbs from the pan. Add chopped vegetables and sauté until crispy. Add honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, and sauté everything together, then gradually add some of the water used to cook the noodles.

Once the ingredients are well combined, add the noodles, chicken, and shrimp. Season with lemon and lime zest, and add diced tomato. Let it sit for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Garnish the finished dish with chopped parsley and sliced green onion.
