Everyone loves chips. Whether they are seasoned with salt, paprika, cheese, or anything else. However, they usually need to be fried to achieve the same texture as store-bought ones. Why not try making them in the oven for a change?

Wash the potatoes, peel them, wash them again thoroughly, and slice them into very thin pieces. Preheat the oven to 240 °C.

Dry the potato slices well with a kitchen towel to ensure they are as dry as possible. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and grease it with butter. Arrange the potato slices evenly on the tray.

Place the tray in the oven and bake the slices for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the edges start to brown. Then, remove the tray from the oven and season the chips with salt to taste. Allow them to cool slightly, then transfer them to a larger bowl and serve.
