Ingredients
-
500 g Oat bran, raw
-
100 g Seeds, pumpkin
-
100 g Nuts, almonds
-
100 ml Oil, plant, coconut
-
6 spoon Honey
-
2 teaspoons Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
1.5 teaspoons Spices, ginger, ground
-
pieces Orange, shell
-
80 g Cranberries, dried
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F). Roughly chop the nuts, add them to a large bowl, and mix with the oats and seeds.
-
In a small pot, heat the coconut oil and add the spices and honey. Mix well to create a smooth mixture, then stir in the grated orange zest.
-
Pour the hot mixture over the dry ingredients and mix everything thoroughly with a spatula. Transfer the mixture to a baking tray lined with parchment paper and spread it evenly in a layer about 2 cm thick. If needed, lightly press the mixture against the bottom of the tray with the spatula.
-
Bake the granola in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Stir it well every 5 to 10 minutes to prevent the oats, seeds, and nuts from burning.
-
Once the oats turn golden brown, remove the tray from the oven. Let the granola cool completely.
-
Mix the dried cranberries into the cooled granola. Serve it with milk or Greek yogurt and fresh fruit.
