Honey with Nuts and Dried Fruit

Ingredients

70 ml Alcohol, Rum

190 ml Honey

80 g Raisins

4 pieces Figs, dry

30 g Walnuts

30 g Nuts, hazelnuts

30 g Nuts, almonds
Steps

Sort through the raisins, wash them, and drain. Wash the figs, drain them, and cut them in half (you can also chop them into smaller pieces). Place a small pot on the stove, pour in the rum, and wait for it to boil. Immediately add the dried fruit, stir, cover, and remove from heat. Let the ingredients soak for 10 to 15 minutes.

Place the pot back on the stove and mix in the honey and nuts. Cook over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes.

Remove the pot from the heat. Rinse a clean jar for storage with cold water. Pour the mixture into the jar, seal it, and wait for the mixture to cool completely. Serve or decorate with a ribbon and give as a gift.
