Hummus with Cilantro
If you like chickpeas, you must try hummus. It is a popular oriental spread or side dish made from cooked chickpeas, olive oil, tahini (sesame paste), garlic, and lemon juice. Usually, finely chopped parsley is added, but this time we present a version with cilantro. Hummus is served with bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables cut into sticks.

Ingredients

2 cans Chickpea, cooked

2 pod Garlic, fresh

3 spoons Yogurt, plain, from whole milk

3 spoons Sesame butter, tahini

3 spoons Oil, olive

pieces Lemon, fresh, without shell

20 g Coriander, leaves, fresh

Rinse the chickpeas from the can under running water, drain, and place them in a kitchen blender. Peel and roughly chop the garlic. Add it to the blender along with the yogurt, tahini, olive oil, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Blend the ingredients until smooth.

Rinse the cilantro under running water, shake it well, and finely chop. Season the hummus with salt and pepper to taste. Add the cilantro and mix the spread well again. Serve it in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and accompany with pita bread, crackers, or raw vegetables cut into sticks.
