Ingredients

Steps

Thoroughly wash the steaks and dry them with a paper towel. Soak the chanterelles in lukewarm water. Peel the onion and chop it very finely. Clean the mushrooms, wipe them with a paper towel, and slice them.

Season the steaks to taste with salt and pepper on both sides and dust them with flour. Place a pan on the stove and melt the butter in it. Add the steaks and cook them on medium-high heat for about 3 minutes on each side. Then transfer them to a plate, cover, and keep warm.

Add the mushrooms to the pan and sauté them on high heat for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain the soaked chanterelles, squeeze them, and chop them finely. Add them to the pan along with the onion and sauté for one minute. Pour the white wine over the sautéed mushrooms. Stir in the cream and simmer the ingredients on low heat for about 5 minutes.

Place the steaks in the sauce, cover, and heat for another 3 minutes. Divide the steaks and sauce onto plates and serve to your guests.

Advice
100 ml of dry white wine can also be replaced with vegetable broth. It will be even better if we use fresh chanterelles. You can also add spices (thyme, parsley) if desired.
