Ingredients

250 ml Sweet cream

3 pieces Egg, egg yolk, fresh

250 ml Milk, whole milk

5 spoon Sugar, white

2 teaspoons Vanilla, extract, natural

1 cup Bread, whole grain

In a large bowl, mix the egg yolks with milk, sugar, and vanilla extract into a uniform mixture, using an electric mixer (or whisk). Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook over moderate heat for 20 minutes. Be careful not to let the milk boil. Remove the saucepan from the heat and wait for the liquid to cool completely.

Add sweet cream and crushed butter cookies to the cooled mixture and mix everything well. Pour the mixture into the ice cream maker. Prepare the ice cream according to the manufacturer's instructions. Transfer the prepared ice cream from the machine's container into containers with lids and freeze the ice cream in the freezer.

Advice
Instead of butter cookies, you can use Albert biscuits, grissini sticks… You can also add some chocolate chunks to the ice cream. If you dont have an ice cream maker, place the mixture in the freezer just long enough for it to slightly set but not freeze. Its best to use flat metal containers that conduct heat best. Store the ice cream in the freezer in well-sealed containers to prevent it from absorbing other odors. Fill the ice cream makers container only two-thirds full, as the mixture will expand during freezing. The mixing time in the machine depends on the quantity, additives, and temperature of the mixture. Ice cream that has been in the freezer for more than 12 hours should be placed in the refrigerator for 30 - 60 minutes before use.
