90 g Rice, brown

1 spoon Margarine

1 piece Onion, raw

300 g Pumpkin, raw

0.25 teaspoons Spices, cumin, seeds

0.25 teaspoons Spices, turmeric, ground

0.25 teaspoons Spices, coriander - seeds

1 teaspoon Ginger, fresh
Steps

Rinse the red lentils and rice in a sieve under running water until the water runs clear. Place the rinsed lentils and rice in a pot and cook them in ten times the amount of salted water.

Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Add the spices and fry them while stirring for one minute. Add the chopped onion and diced vegetables, reduce the heat to medium, and continue to fry the ingredients while stirring until the vegetables soften. Season the sautéed vegetables to taste, and at the end, enrich them with a tablespoon of margarine.

Serve the cooked rice with lentils and mixed vegetables on plates. Serve the prepared dish while it is still warm.
