Invisible Apple Cake
A divine apple dessert that simply amazes. Its original name is "gateau invisible," and it is made from thinly sliced apples mixed with a batter of eggs, flour, milk, and butter. The mixture is then poured into a baking dish and baked in the oven. The cake is very juicy and so delicious that you will likely find it hard to stop at just one slice.

1 kg Apples, rose

50 g Sugar, brown

100 ml Milk, whole milk

30 g Butter, unsalted

80 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour

1 teaspoon Baking powder

1 handful Nuts, almonds

Steps

Peel the apples and remove the cores. Slice them thinly using a mandoline, place them in a bowl, and drizzle with lemon juice. Gently mix.

In a bowl, beat the eggs and mix them with sugar, vanilla, and salt. Use a hand whisk. Add the milk and melted butter, and finally sift in the flour mixed with baking powder. Mix until you get a smooth and uniform batter without lumps.

Add the sliced apples to the bowl and gently mix them with the prepared batter.

Grease a round cake or pie pan (20 to 22 cm in diameter) with butter and dust it with flour (remove any excess flour). Pour the prepared mixture into the pan and sprinkle almond flakes on top.

Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 190°C for about 40 minutes. Serve warm or cold, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
