Ingredients
-
680 g Meat, beef, ground
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
2 pod Garlic, fresh
-
6 twig Parsley, fresh
-
0.5 teaspoons Spices, oregano, dried
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
80 ml Milk, whole milk
-
50 g Cheese, Parmesan, hard
-
50 g Breadcrumbs, dried
-
1 teaspoon Salt, table
-
0.25 teaspoons Spices, pepper, black
Steps
-
Peel the onion and garlic and chop them as finely as possible. Rinse the parsley under running water if necessary and dry it well. Remove the leaves from the stems and chop them finely.
-
Place the ground meat in a large bowl. Add the chopped onion, garlic, parsley, oregano, beaten egg, milk, grated Parmesan, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs. Mix the ingredients in the bowl with clean hands until you get a uniform mixture. If the mixture seems too soft, add a few more breadcrumbs.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Line a low baking dish with parchment paper. Shape the mixture into meatballs with wet hands and place them on the prepared baking dish. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes. Halfway through baking, you can take the dish out of the oven and turn the meatballs so they cook evenly on all sides.
-
Pour tomato sauce over the baked meatballs and serve with your chosen side dish.
