Steps

Peel and mince the garlic. Drain the capers and olives. Pit the olives and slice them into rings.

In a pot, add the tomatoes, garlic, capers, olive oil, and olives. Season with salt and pepper, and cook slowly over moderate heat for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
