Ingredients
-
250 g Chili peppers, jalapeƱo, fresh
-
250 g Cheese, edamame
-
7 spoon Breadcrumbs, dried
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
pieces Oil, plant, sunflower
Steps
-
Wash the jalapeno chilies, cut them in half lengthwise, and remove the stems and seeds. Grate the cheese. Fill each jalapeno half with cheese and press them slightly together.
-
Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them well with a fork. In another bowl, place the breadcrumbs. Carefully dip the filled jalapeno chilies first into the beaten eggs, then roll them in the breadcrumbs. Then dip them again in the egg and roll them in the breadcrumbs. Press them slightly to prevent them from falling apart during frying.
-
Heat the oil well in a deep pan. Be careful not to let the oil start smoking! Fry the jalapeno chilies for 3 to 4 minutes until they turn golden brown. Then place them on paper towels to drain excess fat.
-
Serve the fried chilies on a plate and accompany them with a dipping sauce.

Advice
Fry in a large amount of fat. The food should float in it. For frying, use fats that do not contain water, such as coconut oil or good quality oil. The frying fat is hot enough when small bubbles form around a wooden spoon handle. You can also use other types of chilies.
