Ingredients
Dough
-
250 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
1 bag Baking powder
-
125 g Margarine
-
90 g Sour cream
-
1 bag Sugar, white
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
pieces Marmalade, orange
-
pieces Powdered sugar
Steps
-
Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl. Add softened margarine, sour cream, and salt. Mix until the ingredients are combined, then transfer the dough to the counter and knead it. Shape the kneaded dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it rest in the fridge for 5 minutes.
-
Roll out the dough thinly (1.5 - 2 mm) on a floured surface and cut out circles using a round cutter (7 cm diameter). Place a spoonful of jam in the center of each circle, then fold them in half to form pockets. Use a fork to press the edges together to seal them.
-
Transfer the pockets to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 11 - 12 minutes in an oven preheated to 190°C (374°F). While still warm, roll them in powdered sugar.
